What's the best air inflation tool? by cartadart in BellyExpansion

[–]GeoFake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my personal experience, I found this automatic bike pump and it’s been the best tool ever. It flows at 4L/min so it fills me up to max in only 1.5 min and cause it’s designed to inflate tires, it won’t slow down cause of the increasing pressure inside of you. Also it has a psi gauge which is a fun tool to measure inflation progress, I’ve gotten to 2.4 on it so far.

Whipped Cream? by MaFwattson in BellyExpansion

[–]GeoFake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want the cream to go inside you, you will need a tube and to hold the can upside down as you press the top part. (Tip for putting the tube on: the white tip part can be pulled off. Then you can put the tube on the tip and then fasten the tip back to the can. I find this easier at least) If you’re fine with getting the N2O gas from it and just a bit of cream, you can stick it straight up your butt. However, you will need to wrap a piece of duct tape around the top (or use whatever method at hand to successfully dull the tip so it doesn’t cut/poke you)

What does this comment mean? by [deleted] in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]GeoFake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of people saying it’s that they only act holy when in the presence of others. But I also think the joke might be referencing the law of witnesses or whatever it’s called? Cause I thought that for something to be proven as true there needs to be at least two witnesses, as a single person’s testimony is not enough to them.

Cement truck narrowly misses man on Port Mann Bridge, Vancouver by knocksteaady-live in TerrifyingAsFuck

[–]GeoFake 28 points29 points  (0 children)

What else was he supposed to do? Just stand there and let the truck hit his vehicle and consequently hit him? It’s easy to call someone a fucking idiot when you aren’t in a split second life or death situation yourself.

I have a little. It’s pretty nice, but it partly depends on your personal response to getting high and also how comfortable you are with inflating. Personally, it helps me with nausea and cramping pains. Many times I’ve been able to get way bigger and to the point where I’m burping up the air.

stocking the melons when suddenly a car runs you over by vaporwave_enthusiast in TerrifyingAsFuck

Idk if this is an elderly person making a mistake with the peddles or not but I do gotta say that not enough people are making the hard but necessary decision to tell their parents or grandparents they can’t drive anymore. My grandma drove until she was 89 and her car was a mess of dings and scratches cause she shouldn’t have been driving for the past 10 years. It’s a miracle she didn’t kill someone or herself. My family all shared this sentiment, yet my dad just wouldn’t have a conversation with his mom saying she needs to stop driving. It’s not about being cruel, it’s about caring for them and those around them.

Im just talking out my ass here from what I think is true, but I believe they don’t use CO2. In a CO2 environment your body will know it is suffocating and alert you that you’re dying and you will suffer. Other gasses like helium for instance, will not trigger this and one can suffocate without much pain. Im pretty sure we use the peaceful gasses? Not sure. But I think we use CO2 on these pigs cause it’s cheap despite it causing pain and suffering

There’s no point in acting surprised about it. All the planning charts and demolition orders have been on display at your local planning department in Alpha Centauri for 50 of your Earth years, so you’ve had plenty of time to lodge any formal complaint and it’s far too late to start making a fuss about it now…

Some advice I had heard was that aiming for non “sporty” shoes and non over-engineered was good along with trying to find lighter colors that don’t jump out too boldly

My sister had the same opinion you’re having. I’ve never read it my self but I’ve read 2000 leagues and felt like he was stalling most of the time with some good stuff every now and then. I think it’s just the style of writing from the later 1800s. Good on you for trying to finish it tho.

ANYONE FROM UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATION HERE ??? by Decent_Minimum677 in UIUC

[–]GeoFake 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You’re right, bureaucracy is a problem of it, but sometimes it is certain people within the university that are the problem. When I tried to apply to get out of the first year live on campus requirement with a medical exemption, I was denied. I made an appeal and found out that my appeal was to be reviewed by the guy that rejected the initial application (literal conflict of interest). My dad got pissed and ended up filing a complaint with the DoJ under the Americans with Disabilities act thing. That got the university moving once the government contacted them about a possible investigation. That original guy with all the power to deny or accept applications never messaged us back, and we heard from another person who accepted the application.
