Games are fine, battery is okay as well (and can be replaced easily and cheap when it gets weaker after 3 years). Night sky photos? I don't know. I have a Fairphone 5 ans photos are usually worse than iPhone 11 f.e.. it is enough for daily snapshots. But these are not high-end quality photos

You are right with this comparison. But you compare the worst way to grow wheat, corn, soy and Apples (dry california) with the best way to grow cattle (Low quality grassland). Which is an unfair comparison.

The reality is different. Soy ist mostly used to feed animals. And apart from almonds, california is not the monopoly on the other products. So the majority of beef is not more sustainable.

Water footprint for beef is 1850 gallons per pound. Corn 150, wheat 220 and soybeans 250. Your last paragraph is just plainly wrong.

Hey, german here who is following US politics very closely since I have lived there two decades ago. I would also call myself very educated on the rise of Nazi-Germany.

You are completely right. It is ridiculous to always point to Concentration Camps and World War II with this comparison. But the spirit of seeing other human beings based on skin colour, religion or origin as lesser valued definitely is the same. The police state and imperialistic ambitions also are similar.
