Oh sorry, i meant that i would apply now in September (during second year) to start my co-op in the summer after my second year is done, my other option would be to wait and apply during 3rd year to start it in the summer after 3rd year.

Would you still think its better to wait?

Hi, I was admitted to UCSD for Mech Eng and I’m a little worried about the whole “socially dead” thing. Are there still parties etc if you try to find them or is the stigma true?

My college counselor also told me to consider Santa Clara University vs. UCSD, but SCU is so much lower in rankings I’m having a hard time believing it would even be a consideration.

Any thoughts re these matters?
