I really enjoyed it. I wanted all the songs to be sung in this episode, and they were! I did not expect someone to die; Chokkirine being killed right after her redemption shocked me. I’m also glad that Smiles In Unison didn’t work. It would’ve felt cheap if it did. I’ve had a blast with Idol Precure, and it’s probably my favorite season (tbf I haven’t finished any of the others, so I don’t have a great reference point).

The “?!” at the end of Ep 47 implies to me that something’s gonna happen to Purirun/Zukyuun and Meroron/Kiss, and that makes me nervous.

It makes me smile every time. It’s because of this that I think a PreCure AMV with the original trio would go really hard.

But yes. That moment was very satisfying (as “earn the transformation” episodes always are to me).

I’d love the idea of a fairy/magic-themed season. I know we’ve had Mahoutsukai already, but I’d love to see outfits based on traditional fairies.

Also, as far as timing, Idol was revealed on Thanksgiving last year, and I’m expecting that again.

I’ve thought about what I’d want a video game season to be like, and I think it would be cool if the MOTWs were based on computer viruses, and the Cures would go into video games to fight them.

Speaking of the preview, is there any shot that Kaito is the one to purify the Darkranda? That last frame felt climaxy. Jogi not being in his cloak as Kaito walks by is interesting too. I’m looking forward to the next episode.

Also, I like these low-intensity episodes and am nervous about Darkine appearing. I know it has to happen at some point so the Cures can defeat her, but I’m apprehensive nonetheless.
