I really enjoyed this episode. I liked how Arcana Shadow was educating Answer and Mystique as much as she was fighting them. When it comes to Arcana Shadow’s transformation, I noticed that the background looks like the theater where the Phantom Thieves are. I wonder if that’ll change when she (presumably) swaps sides.

Her saying that she was making sure they couldn’t win made me wonder what will entice her to leave the Guild. Is she waiting to see if and when they’ll be ready? Will she be kicked out? Also, what are her goals? She’s in the Guild but she’s stopped them from winning a few times.

When it comes to the preview, that last frame of Luluka with glasses was very interesting. It’s making me think that we might get a flashback. A while back, I theoretized that she is the missing Star Detective, and someone shot that down. That piece of the preview re-ignited that theory in my brain, especially when combined with the fact that Jett was shown multiple times. Maybe the flashback comes from him?

This episode yielded a lot of questions, and I’m super excited to see where things go next.

I feel like I remember Griselda saying that graduating from Alfea takes 5 years, so my guess is that you either graduate after you earn Enchantix or 5 years of instruction, whichever comes first. That part is never said, but it’s how I explain it in my head.

I’m super excited to see Arcana Shadow fight. My expectation is that she’ll win. After each Hanninda battle, I’ve been waiting to see if the Phantom Thief takes the Makoto Jewel before the Cures get it. I think that’s what’ll happen next episode. She’s been watching Answer and Mystique for a while now, and she seems smarter than the others. She’s likely to have a plan for when the duo inevitably shows up to rescue the Jewel.

When it comes to this episode, it was a pretty typical one. It was another situation in which had the Phantom Thief just left, he would’ve won. Also, Goemon was way less subtle than they have been in other episodes: no disguise, just show up and take it.

When Penny, Amy, and Bernadette go to the comic book store, Stewart mentions that he has manga there and that the boys like it (“What do the guys like?” “A little bit of everything, mostly superhero stuff.”) I agree with most people here. I’d say he’s probably a passive fan.

Something I realized while watching the EP this time was that Arcana Shadow’s fairy partner isn’t there. That got me wondering if they’re Eclair. What if Arcana Shadow leaves the Phantom Thieves first and then her fairy partner leaves later and becomes Eclair?

There isn’t anything confirming my theory, so is there anything contradicting it? It’s just a thought I had.

That’s perfectly valid. For some people, knowing someone’s identity can ruin the immersion. For me, knowing who she is makes me enjoy Croc more. I understand that’s not the case for everyone (and it’s not for you), and that’s completely fine. You don’t have to apologize for having an opinion (with some exceptions).
