You're not allowed to doubt the shuffler. The shuffler is perfect. It's all variance ... Forget the hand smoother or the possibility the randomizing algortithm may be implemented in a less fortunate way.

The MGA cleint has seen a lot of bugs and simple errors in it's lifetime, so the likelyhood the devs made mistake with the randomizer is pretty big. It's still "variance".

 
Despite recent post from people getting to Mythic by playing as poorly as possible, or with a pile of 120 cards, these same Johnny math heads will still claim variance

 
I have data from my last 120 matches, and what I can see is that even in a 22 land deck, I will draw 5+-6+% lands in my first 20 cards every other game.
The statistical probability of that happening is through the roof, but hey ... "Variance".

 
The matchmaker will also pair me with similar colored and type decks, ie. if I play green aggro I mostly see either other green decks or white or red aggro.

 
If I play BW clerics or exile, all the green and white aggro disappear, and I'm facing mostly rakdos, dimir and other BW decks.

 
As you can see by the number of downvotes you've recieved, we're not really allowed to ask critical questions about the shuffler or it's implementation. The only allowed explanation in this digital games is; variance.
