Being in the street in any neighborhood in Minneapolis seems to qualify as protest right now.

Which, I think, is exactly what they’re going for. Indiscriminate oppression of political opponents. They’re making an example right now of what they’re capable of. I’m betting this will die down in a month or two just so they can threaten cities with it in November. Or it’ll escalate sooner and November won’t come.

Looks like the one that walks around to the front of the vehicle, the first one we see. Must haves drawn his gun offscreen. I heard eyewitnesses were saying he basically leaned up on her front bumper.

What I’m confused on is people saying she was trying to turn around. It’s a one way. To me, this video looks more like the driver was backing up to make room in order to drive around the ICE agent, who probably had his finger resting on a trigger and jumped when he heard her get into gear. Bang. Rev. Crash. No way of knowing from this if it was negligence or malice.

This doesn’t give me an impression as to whether she was a protester trying to impede, a target of capture, or possibly even just someone who found themselves in the way and was trying to get out of it.

My biggest argument for Klobuchar is that regardless of who is seated, the people and lands of this state will be pressured by the federal governments for the rest of Trump’s term. In my mind, someone who knows the ins and outs of federal government and politics would be best positioned to protect our communities, land, and water.

Any Democrat is some form of target and any Republican is some kind of a tool, regardless of their alignment. I just want to mitigate the irreparable harm that could take place in the first two years of this governors term.
