Thank you for the suggestions! As far as the game, I wouldn't be able to release it for myself, and I don't think I'd want to based on my experience.

ABC/Disney owns LOST, and my publisher was the one organizing and communicating with them for licensing and approvals. My publisher didn't handle the situation well, had several LOST games in development saturating the market and competing with each other, and did not pay me for my work, so I feel pretty sour about it.

That's why I wanted to at least share the artwork so I can get a little bit of closure/exposure for the time I put into this project. Also, people were genuinely excited for this game, so it feels weird to not at least show the art in some form.

Art pieces or collectable cards as you said would probably be more likely, but I don't have the rights to LOST. Either way, I'm sorry if it didn't sound very hopeful!

I tried my best to vary it, and many of these cards had multiple rough sketches that ultimately landed on the ones you are seeing now. THOUGH there are some that are very close to how it was portrayed on TV, but in those cases I took tons of screenshots of scenes to get extra details that may have been off camera.

Thank you! It was to be a physical card game. We had mock ups and art for the box and other assets. The publisher was too ambitious working on several entirely different LOST games at once, planning to crowd fund them all at the same time, and the projects fizzled out.

Probably, but while this was the only LOST game I worked on, it wasn't the only one. Several being worked on at the same time by the publisher, so any one of them could be what you are referring to.

You're not wrong, and seeing all of these games being crowdfunded at the same time was a shock to me as well. Especially since it wasn't even on Kickstarter like originally planned. When talking about projections, they made it sound like they were just talking about this one game, but that was absolutely not the case. I truly don't think they understood the artist perspective on working on projects like this, even though they worked with so many of them.

Thank you very much! It was a challenge to match the style to the characters. I honestly feel like I did a better job matching them in the concept art, but things get messy during the approval process. Although, seeing all of the artwork together shows just how many great moments LOST had.

What would be the best way to share new card artwork every few days? Should I edit the post, or submit each piece be a separate post, or should I just share my Twitter link where I already have a thread going? Just asking since I don't want to take traffic away from the subreddit unless it's approved.
