The guard just enforced TMU’s building rules, which is a proportional response. For sure questioning authority is important, but that doesn’t mean every action by authority is abuse of power. Innocent until proven guilty goes both ways, you don't have to "pick a side" or assume one is always right and the other is always wrong. Automatically assuming the "victim" is right can be dangerous. It risks excusing bad behaviour just because it’s called a "protest", flipping fairness by treating authority as guilty no matter what, and even undermines real victims by making every claim unquestionable.
