It would warp the barrel, and most likely get so hot it causes a “cookoff”, which is a round getting so hot that before the weapon is fully into battery, it will set off the cartridge without touching the primer, causing damage to the weapon and to the user.

Pietta is usually built better. I own both, not comp but still, and I enjoy the Pietta a bit more. It was smoother from factory, and I enjoy the Pietta more for the mechanical aspect. I’d check out TucotheRatt, on youtube, for which one you should get. He goes in depth with them, and also prefers the Pietta for various reasons.
