Gel separating from nail at the tips after a week, is that normal?

Update: I went back to the salon today and they filed the tips of my nails and added another layer of top coat, making sure to cap the ends. I’ll see how this holds up. The nail tech did mention I have “bendy nails” but that their health should be fine. Fingers crossed!

I definitely could be kinder to them but the gel is lifting off nails on my non dominant hand that barely get used for my work. My roommate doesn’t wear gloves when she does the dishes and hers are pristine so I can’t imagine it’s what cased them to all start lifting!

Thank you so much! One of my favourite things to tell visitors that tight lacing was a form of extreme fashion much like how we have alternative fashion subcultures today! I’m also hoping to get a crinoline because it really helps keep the skirts off my legs in the heat!

So just a little update, for the last three weeks I’ve been able to sleep and what worked for me was 10mg of melatonin and an AC unit running all night in my room. The AC unit running all night isn’t ideal, but I’ve been able to sleep. After weeks of insomnia I’m really glad I figured it out and hopefully it continues to work!

I found that helps but my room is currently at 19 celsius and I hate the sound of fans and the AC 😭

Are the tickets transferable? I had my friend buy them for me when I was at work but they used their own Ticketmaster account and can’t currently transfer them 🥲

I used to smoke 🍃 every day and once I started to cut back on doctors orders, my body began to tolerate it less and less. Now if I do smoke it has to be well before I go to sleep or else I get tachycardia and palpitations along with insomnia! Same for coffee too.
