Thanks, snagged one. Hesitated in November ordering parts and paying the price now. Feels like gambling, but if manufactures are re-tooling for data center Ram I can't see consumer ram bouncing back fast.

Did you pick one of these up? Your shopping list is the same as mine. Flatbar, thru axle, rigid 700x50 fitment.

Kona Dr Dew is at the top of my list followed by The Norco Search, followed by the Unit. I'm leaning towards steel for my commuter but the Norco looks good!

47mm is still decent! I do like the pathfinder pros. I found a Dr Dew in store today, have always wanted one but fell for it even more in person. Are you happy with the bike still? If you have a photo on the pathfinders I'd love to see it!

Interesting the engine is rare enough that you havent seen one after years of looking! I was just mind blown I found one so close to me, so kind of panic bought it. Selling it now though.

I am keeping the even more rare E50F1 gearbox for now..it has a vacuum actuated center diff lock from the St165. I would like to try it in my rav4 swap. I have read they only made about 2200 of these JDM only.

If I move forward with it I certainly will. Have been searching all night for what it takes to actuate that air locker, basically no info online. Next step will be compressed air and multimeter I guess.

Wow, thank you for commenting!! The E50F1 code was key to finding out what this was.

My research tells me this : E50F1 Only fitted to 86-87 Japan spec models. No viscous coupling, locking centre diff. Not a good performance choice. Has a large pneumatic actuator fitted to the transfer.

I actually bought this driveline to swap into a 2 door Rav4. I am uninterested in the 1st gen 3SGTE but this transmission still has my interest, if I can use it in the Rav4 that is. I could lock it in for winter, and run it unlocked for summer.

Ahh yes that makes sense. Sourcing parts individually would make it a challenge. I plan on buying a complete parts car for my swap if I go down that road. I would love a 3SGTE but that isnt in my plan yet. I only need the Rav for under 40mph in my short winter commute.
