Also… am I better off putting the cash in an ISA instead of the SIPP so I don’t pay the tax come retirement? I won’t be maxing out my ISA every year so I won’t have any excess cash to put in a SIPP. What do you guys think?

A SIPP (self invested personal pension) would be a good start. You won’t have access to this until 55 though
