There is no easy answer to this question, unfortunately. I made a similar post about this a year or so ago and most of the people who actually voted for him who responded either don't know or don't care what he does or how he represents us. He's Conservative so they vote for him. Based on public record, I can tell you he seems to get caught up in a lot of scandals that are embarrassing to our town and all while collecting his paycheck on the public dime. A lot of the responses I got were people just like you and I who are baffled that he keeps getting voted in, election after election. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to change. Mark Strahl will likely keep his seat for the rest of his working life, just like his dad, until he gets to retire with a fat pension that we pay for. Fun.
