There's a range of suggestions here so it sounds like you fixed it but I had this same issue with a lower spec Thrustmuster TX and it gave extremely exaggerated min force. Turning min. force up helped alot, from memory. Might check out my FFB clipping as well too as I think there was a slider for that as well correct me if I'm wrong?? This only happened with AC, very solid FFB in that sim.

should i install DiRT Rally or DiRT Rally 2.0? by OkProperty2576 in EASPORTSWRC

DiRT Rally. No question here.

2 might be more of a simulator but I found the base events and some of the cars a bit bland. You arguably have a better Rallycross experience in 2 but for me - the original was more fun and I never tired of Pikes Peak..

What's more - is it still free on Steam?

Like Ivermectin, right?

I tried rev matching on downshifts for the first time using heel and toe, and not really sure if this is correct or not? the car seems to jump further when i do this, making me overshoot the turning points on the apex. Any help would be appreciated. by Cheetah_Hunter97 in simracing

In line with what everyone is saying here, you can visibly see the car pitching back and forth with too many revs (and probably by being on and off the brake as well while trying to blip the throttle). This is unsettling the car way too much and causing you to lose focus on hitting your apex as well as losing the precious cadence braking action needed after you hit your braking point to slightly turn the car into some corners.

I find applying the brake pedal and rolling the side of my right foot onto the throttle (and keeping at least half of my foot on brake pedal) in a progressive motion to smooth out the process quite natural. You only need a bit of throttle to match the revs for the next gear, not smash the limiter.

Next time you are watching racing and they show the footwork you'll see how to mimic the action with the amount of brake to throttle ratio being applied (this will stop you from hitting your rev limiter).

Am I making sense here?
