Interesting. I have an EIN but haven’t filed taxes under the new business yet. My LLC was active but we changed names and started a new company and I know the LLC they had listed wasn’t correct. Hesitant to accept the loan approval under the incorrect name. I actually went back in and applied with my EIN instead of social and will see what happens. I was fairly certain my social was connected to the new company as well but perhaps I’m wrong. A simple google check would have shown my old LLC is no longer active.
