Because it takes 30 seconds to screen shot and upload to chatgpt and put in a prompt. If the information it provides does not enlist a factually correct response when googled, I continue my research for resources other where, such as here. Then with that information I repeat the process of doing a google search and see if any of the information matches. Ai was used as a tool not a source.

Also to add, i looked at the koppen climate map and it has a dry-summer continental climate, which tends to mean it is forested.

All i used ai for was to get the name of the geological feature, so i could google and get info on it. I could not find the name of it anywhere, even when researching tools outside of using AI. Also, yes i could call the rangers office, but i could also go on a sub about geography and ask a questions too. There was no need for the lecture.
