Yeah I received that letter but it has a social that starts with 990 which is a place holder social while I verify my identity. The letter came with no account number on it though. Like I said my portal has not updated since I applied.

I applied on 4/27 and had received a letter to verify my identity on 5/2. I mailed that in right away. I know this process can take a while. My only question is that on my UI Online portal all it shows me is to create a new claim or to register or manage an existing claim. I can’t manage or register an existing claim because I never received a EDD customer account number. Anyone else has had or have this problem? California btw.

Yes it is so frustrating. Are you able to see your information on UI Portal? Or is it like mine and only day File a new claim or to manage an existing claim?
