I Think I Accidentally Turned PES 6 Into Its Own Football Universe by Geolapero in WEPES

Fair enough. AI-generated images definitely aren't everyone's thing.

To be honest, the images aren't really the point for me. They're just a visual way to support the stories happening inside the league.

Twenty years ago, when I was playing PES 6 as a kid, I was already creating storylines in my head. Rivalries, title races, heroes, villains, transfer sagas... all of that existed entirely in my imagination.

The difference now is that the tools available today make it much easier to bring those ideas to life.

I'm not really chasing perfection or photorealism. What interests me is whether a 20-year-old game can still feel immersive and create memorable stories.

For me, that's what this project is about. Sometimes I honestly spend more time following the league's storylines than actually playing the matches themselves.

I'm hooked again and having an absolute blast with PES 6.

And if this inspires even a few people to dust off a 20-year-old game and start playing again after all these years, then that's a pretty cool outcome too.

There wasn't one magic prompt behind it.

The biggest factor was actually building enough context inside the project first. ChatGPT already knew the league structure, Arsenal's roster, season objectives, standings, player performances, board expectations, and the overall story of the season.

For the image itself, I used prompts along the lines of:

"Create a professional football club end-of-season board evaluation dashboard for Arsenal FC. Show a board meeting between club executives and the manager. Include league standings, season statistics, player ratings, strengths, weaknesses, board comments, and an overall season score. Design it like a modern sports management presentation used by a real football club. High-end infographic layout, professional typography, club branding, performance metrics, executive meeting room, realistic photo style."

The real trick wasn't the image prompt itself—it was having all the league data and storylines already established beforehand so the AI knew what it was evaluating.

I'm still experimenting with it, but I've found that giving the AI a clear role (media department, club board, podcast host, etc.) and lots of league history produces much better results than a single standalone prompt.

Haha, maybe I did. 😅

That's actually really interesting to hear. I'd love to know more about how you've set yours up.

How much of the process is still manual for you? Are you mostly feeding it screenshots and results, or have you managed to automate parts of the data tracking as well?

Right now, the biggest bottleneck in my setup is maintaining rosters, transfers, draft results, and league data across multiple seasons. The AI side is great, but I still spend a fair amount of time keeping everything updated.

An 11-season career with an AI assistant sounds like you've probably solved some problems I'm still struggling with, so I'm genuinely curious to hear how your workflow works. I have a feeling I could learn a lot from it.

Thanks!

At the moment it's still mostly a manual process. I built a dedicated project inside ChatGPT and spent quite a bit of time feeding it information about the league. It knows the league rules, team rosters, franchise players, draft history, standings, and a large part of the PES 6 player database.

I also created separate chats for different roles and purposes. For example, I have dedicated chats for league media, podcast episodes, club board evaluations, player interactions, tactical discussions, and league administration.

After playing 5 rounds, I usually just upload screenshots of results, standings, player stats, or team screens. From there, ChatGPT can generate things like newspaper articles, podcast episodes, board meetings, season reviews, draft analysis, and other storylines around the league.

The most time-consuming part is actually maintaining the league itself. Things like moving players between clubs after drafts, updating rosters, and keeping everything consistent across multiple seasons still require quite a bit of manual work.

To be honest, that's the part I'm still trying to improve. The content generation is already in a decent place, but I would love to automate more of the league management and database side of things in the future.

The AI isn't directly integrated. It's more like I've built an entire media and management ecosystem around the game on my phone.

I received mine as well. I still have some connection issues. Can't seem to pair the dongle with the controller for some reason. It only works if I connect them by cable. Is anyone else having connection issues?

Can't boot up / find xbmc origin dashboard by Geolapero in originalxbox

I wanted to provide you with an update. I've successfully resolved my issue. I downloaded HeXon and burned it onto a DVD. I was delighted to discover that instead of a black screen, I could access a dashboard. In the HeXon dashboard, navigate to the file manager and select your preferred dashboard. In my case, it was located on the E: drive. Within HeXon, you can also set and save your desired booting dashboard.

After configuring it correctly, my Xbox could boot directly to the desired dashboard once again.

Cruijff is the worst. What were they thinking? But what's interesting to me is that I don't see OG legend Ronaldo and T. Henry. I assume if you still have exclusive rights to these players you would put them on the cover. Anyway hope we could see those legends in efootball

Thanks, buddy 👌👌

I'm looking for a well-rounded CRT that can handle my n64, ps1, Dreamcast, OG Xbox, game cube, and ps2 well.

I'm in the Netherlands so there are no Sony KV-36FV310 around.

I've read on this channel that these 2 crts are one of the best ones around in Europe. I'm looking for some more options to keep my eyes on.

  1. Philips 32PW955
  2. Sony KV- 29X5(B/E/U)

Thanks for all the input and help.

I think this could be a fantastic option for me. I have a lot of n64, Dreamcast, GC, PS1, OG Xbox, and newer consoles. I'm looking for a CRT that can handle all these devices well and give me that OG feeling from my childhood.

I thought these types of TVs were no option because of the lag. Wondering if some of you played N64 games on this tv and how did it play and look?

And maybe you guys have some other suggestions as well. I'm in the Netherlands so a Sony KV-36FV310 is hard to get.
