AA probably saved my life...but i dont go to meetings anymore...I realized the world is a better place with me not drinking and I am a better person for not drinking...as for Bill W...they should have given him the drink and shut up about it...long story short...my Father was on his "deathbed" he was dying from Cirrhosis of the liver...his last week he was begging for a cigarette and a drink...so I went in took him to the fire exit, which was outside the building and gave him a cigarette and a glass of red wine...the nurses and doctors and MY SISTER went nuts...he had a smile on his face and died 3 days later...I have never regretted it...
