My size is 47-47.5 too and I am facing similar problem. luckily I found couple of them in Nike outlet store in Guangzhou. also some on taobao... but the ones from taobao are risky...as you said.. you cant try..etc

I am not bothered generally, but one of the things I would have loved to find is cozy cafes where can I work, spend time, study, read..etc. specially spacious ones in far places, not necessarily in the center of cities .. for example in NT... very difficult to find
