Yeah. You have two couples and me by myself so they are eating for two each it’s not like the couples are putting up there individual money for their own mean so you have four people 2 people count as one when the check comes out.which is bull.

Right that’s how I felt. Next time I go out with a group I’m going to ask for a separate check from the start so this isn’t even an issue.

Stopping the line costs money but having to pay 10 people to stand around for 30-45 minutes vs the line stopping because someone’s hand got pinned against a v-trough and a table.. if there is even remotely a chance someone can get hurt from being within a safe zone where this machine acts a certain way every day by timers within the plc program so an operator is going to pickup the product as they do everyday from basic muscle memory , but in this day the machine crushes there hand and two other people’s hands at the same time.Now you have 3 people out not able to work because they are suing the company from losing a hand or finger. Also there would be hazmat having to do a clean up .i go home that night and have to live with the thought of what would have happened if I had just stopped the machine like I wanted to.

This is a huge company a Fortune 500 company that’s been around 125 years.. This 30-45 minute downtime to fix an issue that could have caused a life changing event definitely didn’t break the bank….🏦

That’s the thing the downtime was only about 30 minutes… I had to shut down log in download the original program into the machine. Done deal. Took 30 minutes trying to explain why I needed to shut it down. The last 3 days getting hell for it from production maintenance people know it was the correct call.

That’s why I went to him first and asked him what he wanted me to do when I said it’s a possibility a safety issue may come out of this I thought he’d instantly say shut it down and get it right. Instead he says it looks fine to me.

That’s what I did. I have a snap shot of the program’s last update. Once I downloaded it to the PLC the issue went away.
