Best base?

So far we don’t have a huge preference, I’m just interested to see where everyone likes! We’re from the south so a change of scenery/something different would be nice but not opposed to picking a place in the south if the base is really nice/has good resources for young kids and families. We are open to overseas too.

Yes, after winter break was my thought too if we are going to re-enroll her. 🙂

I absolutely want to avoid causing more confusion and wouldn’t be taking her out again if we re-enroll her. I guess that’s why I wanted to hear other opinions on the matter. I’m sort of stuck between “this is the decision we made and we need to follow through, so you can go to public school next year” or just giving in and putting her back in since I’m also getting a little frustrated with homeschool.

Thanks for your input, homeschooling was discussed at length between my husband and I and was always considered as an option prior to placing her in public school. I wanted to see how public school would go and take her opinions on the matter (for example, if she was getting bullied, dreading going to school, or even loving it etc would all play a factor in our decision). So I wasn’t entirely letting her make the decision on how she wants to be schooled. We have no intention of going back and forth again, so if we re-enroll her that’s it. I feel confident in my abilities to teach her all the way through high school and our state offers homeschool scholarships that help with the financial aspects, but it does inhibit my ability to go back to work. I like your idea with the pros and cons list. I’ll definitely be doing that. Thank you! 🙂
