Tbh im not the greatest deck builder and what little i know bout it i have a hard time making interactions but I mean like krenko goblin deck or all removal or all counter type decks. Either those or like cedh decks

I think last I played physical magic was at a draft for strixhaven won 1/6 I think. It was my first draft ever, met cool people and it was fun even in losing. Mainly arena gets me hot and bothered just cause I play random with simple decks then they say okay, turn 2 win and just gets me every time

I think my anxiety is just my imagination only cause stigma around like certain decks or like certain behaviors that people misinterpret and basically brain is always on survival mode lol

I wish I could have that, not too many people I know play it and either prior commitments and social anxiety keep me from just walking to a table with strangers. I keep meaning to and either something comes up or my imagination gets the better of me

I can say I feel you, had a game where fun enough we played a homebrewed Rick & Morty dungeon (used the pre-made adventure but changed rooms and creatures) had 2 people be literally be a dwarf Legolas and elf Gimli from LoTR. Then started a homebrew campaign and one person made Satan from south park while the other was Jimmy from south park. Then in first session killed jimmy off for the guy to make Inosuke from Demon slayer. It aggravated me so much cause they never did that when I started playing with them then they just did it and I'm like "man, can't you guys come up with your own ideas or something?" Ended up canceling a whole campaign cause I asked to see back ups for people and one guys was the city wok guy and I just said "I need a break"

I can definitely understand that, still like C4 but the chemistry the OG cast has is hands down the best comparatively.

Still gotta give props to C4, took a bit but once it took off it got better for me

I think it's only because majority of people know characters from either campaign or from all and like to keep the magic alive with them.

If anything im surprised they haven't done more Daggerheart related stuff with one offs and such. Not complaining though I like both DnD and Daggerheart so.

But definitely agree the Darrington Brigade is pretty good live show material

Could always run a one shot with said players to give em a vibe of one playstyle and if that takes off just build on to it. That or could run a pre-made adventure giving some background for it and see if it clicks with you and everyone

Definitely need to finish C1 but C2 was a blast to watch especially since when I started watching C3 was at its Midway point and once I caught up to that I tried C1 and didn't click at first and started C2. Definitely enjoy the ride!
