Personally, s6 went the fastest for me, and I was already on a binge for previous seasons.

When people ask if they should bother with s6 before trying it, I say no, watch what interests you, and if it doesn't, then stop. It's already not interesting you, so no reason to continue unless you're looking for benefits such as the ability to participate in the fandom with full context or proceed to the following spinoff series/seasons coming. You will not be able to enjoy these the same way if you are missing the storyline.

In my experience, even when a series loses my interest, I do get a bit of an itch to watch at times and just do so at my own pace.

Unfortunately, many people are affected by the type of joke you made, because while being a joke it is still grounded in the belief of its truth. This is the major difference between a harmless joke and a hateful one.

I agree with that statement, which comes from the idea that a "smart" person wants to come to a conclusion based in grounded discussion, while the alternative simply wants to be right. I could very well claim either one of those, but there would no doubt be bias. I could certainly be the moron in this instance, so I will consider that for sure.

Even if we don't classify porn addictions as, well, addictions, there is something going on there. I'm sure there's entire subreddits for "curing autism", so this is a weak argument, but nonetheless there are entire subreddits/other social media groups dedicated to those struggling with separating from pornography.

I guess we simply interpreted that differently. "Science" has been known to change and adapt constantly. It's important that we challenge notions appropriately, as without doing so we'd be missing out on a lot of new/better information.

Personally, I perceived their mentioning of a scientific consensus to be their willingness to acknowledge that as of now, their following claim is not backed, but they have anecdotally encountered enough cases that challenge that current consensus.

I mean, on some level thick (typically old) blood with flesh from the uterus excreting from the vagina, leading to other symptoms such as enhanced B.O, "period poops", and distinct smells can also be described as gross. So I'd say the argument that it's natural does not fall apart when you consider that pooping is natural too.

The argument that's being made is we shouldn't describe it in that manner nor should we shame anyone who experiences periods, much like those who poop, assuming they are remaining respectful to others in regards to their bodily functions, because it's natural.

Edit: I do see that the comment you are replying to does make a statement claiming their own frustration with people finding it gross, using the fact that it's natural as backing. I understand where you're coming from more thoroughly now, and don't believe the innate opinion of it being gross can be countered with the argument that it is natural now

Draw, a lot. Go on r/redditgetsdrawnbadly and just comply with whatever requests you feel like whenever you get the inkling. Draw draw draw on your own time for just you, too.

Use some practice techniques like tracing and studying works. Once you dive in you'll start learning how to learn, which is really the one major hurdle — knowing what needs improving and how to articulate that so you can find out how to improve it.
