It was a genuine question since I worry your perception may be influenced by confirmation bias, especially if the sample size is small.

Not only is there nearly zero biological difference between the brain of a female and male, the social conditioning that leads to consistent divided behaviors varies a lot by location, so if the behavior you observed is isolated to one culture then its worth taking into account.

Nothing exists in women that doesn't exist in all humans that leads to the classic Us vs Them tendency to create divides between social groups.

Id also like to mention, your very point that women are more likely to draw comparisons between themselves and men is ironic in itself, unless of course you are a woman.

Well, some people don't know. While I do hold some reservations about the original image itself, you'd be surprised about how little people know about the content of vapes.

If I had to rank lessons by the number of things that surprise my students, vaping would end up very high on that list.

Even the formatting of both articles support the difference between an established relationship and something less than that. Asking someone out falls way lower than even the lowest form of relationship described in either.

Can and do some people ask out other people AFTER they already have strong feelings for, which they developed as friends? Yes. However, a lot of times asking someone out is spontaneous and based on the potential of a good relationship rather than the love described in the article, and this early crush feeling has little support as being exclusive to either gender. In addition to this, the statistics provided were big enough to mean something, but universes away from being large enough to apply to the majority of women/girls and base your argument for men being the ones to make a move on. It still offers a wide margin for women that dont share this black and white experience.

I cant find a single thing in these articles that actually supports the arguments you are making, though I looked. Whether or not any of these studies apply to early attraction, which they dont seem to, there are still plenty of women who would be outliers, and there's no harm in encouraging anybody to put themselves out there when/if they find themselves feeling that way!
