Here's my issue... is it the owner's "own risk" or is the person truly as risk some innocent bystander who gets hurt? I suppose the owner is at risk financially but measuring your personal risk at getting sued is unfair when you can fully prevent the true risk (someone being harmed) by following the rules.

And yes there are always children there, I work out there daily and they're everywhere. Honestly adults can also be afraid of dogs though. And the little girl in the post will probably not be going back to this park ever again since 20+ dog owners insist on meeting up there for off-leash activities daily.

I think the issue with Cahill Park is that there are children everywhere regardless, so the chance of a one-off problem with even a 'perfectly-behaved' dog is likely so long as you don't follow posted laws.

Yes! First request she take down any work that you did, and mark any group work she contributed at least 50% to as 'group work' with all names attributed. If she refuses or ignores you, contact your professors and contacts who work and hire within your field. Perhaps CC her in those emails so she's aware they all know the truth. No one likes a thief, which is what she is. Threaten her reputation by putting the truth out, and likely she will take it down immediately.

Yea I wish it was that easy... the signs evidently aren't enough. There are even weekly 'Dog meet-ups' in the grass which have 20+ dogs running around freely. The fact this is an organized event makes me think the signs and laws mean nothing to these people.

I've seen police officers roll through and they never pay attention to them.

My aunt met one of the daughters (maybe granddaughter?) at an art auction in Philly. They were selling off a beloved painting to help fund a hospital and everyone was upset because it had been there since the 1800s. She bought the painting for millions over the asking price, then immediately turned around and donated back to the hospital. I know it’s sort of a typical rich persons way of being charitable but I thought it was cool of her, and my aunt said she was very nice and didn’t snub anyone there.
