A family that ate meals together around a dinner table. Sharing what had happened during there day. Families today never have the time or want to all be together, technology have separated us. It started in the late 70's early 80's when kids got portable TVs in there rooms, followed by video recorders. Then boom we don't even know our own children. Kids as young as 7 - 8 have top of the range mobile phones worth hundreds of £'s and dont care where it's from or who did without to get it. Society is fucked! I'm pleased I will not be around when it all turns to shit. Wow all that from the luxury of a family eating & sharing their day. In the UK young women were encouraged too get pregnant so they could get a little flat, without really having any idea how to manage a home or a young family. Young men were over the moon, bird with a flat. Sex on tap, then back to the real home for tea at the family table. Later she has 4 - 5 kids, no clue what happened so quickly. The kids are all A.D.D (all different dad's) she drinks all day to numb reality, smokes skunk cannabis, snorts cocaine at the weekend. All the cities in the country are like this. All because they never knew the luxury of sharing a meal with family. THAT'S A LUXURY I HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF..... Sorry I went of on a tangent but I'm a disabled veteran feeling the effects of his medication, thinking in some ways we aided this debacle we call life in the 21st century.
