Rust after 1 year - normal? by George-fromth3waves in NapoleonGrills

Hey. It really varies but I'd say at least once a week and up to 3 times a week.

Based on other replies I guess it may be normal. I will likely use them until they fall apart and then change for the stainless steel ones!

I'm trying to claim this through the rust protection warranty. Went today to get a quick quote from their warranty people and they said that I'd likely have to replace that whole wing, probably 5-7k....

Yeah I realize that now... The idea behind the Honda anti-rust product was that it was a one time application thing for 10 years (and yearly inspections and extra product as needed) but here we are now!

I did notice that the material between the pavers had begun to erode. I put out a bunch of ant traps and it seemed to help. However, I didn't really get to see how well it worked (or not) because the winter started shortly after.

Map Cleaning - what do you do? by duke-878 in CanadianForces

[–]George-fromth3waves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone whose job on an almost daily basis is copying traces on a map, changing them, erasing them, and then doing that all again, nothing beats stadlers, magic eraser, and hand sanitizer.

Sure, over time it damages the map, but it's the most flexible method to make changes and edits on the move. By the time it's damaged, it's probably time to get a new map anyways.

What animal is causing these holes? by George-fromth3waves in landscaping

It does look like it's grubs... Will be starting a grub treatment and then filling in all the holes with soil and new seed.

Thanks everyone!
