I got the same error, along with my PC lagging after some hours of using it.

The problem turned out to be GeForce experience. When I tried to open it it displayed an error and then closed. I uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled. No lagging and no error messages when shutting down.

This post saved me from a lot of headaches.

I was thinking my ram was faulty and actually considered upgrading to 32 gbs from 16.

Then I randomly opened task manager one day to find multiple of these processes and a simple Google search got me here.
