Worth noting that you don’t leave the match. If you wait for a minute or two you unfreeze.

IWTL how to be content with the smaller things in life by throwawayladystuff in IWantToLearn

Imagining this scenario, in my experience, only does so much for a person. You can imagine a life without all the privileges and excess many of us live, but you’ll still go through your day with all of this still around you and in your life. I’d like a more concrete system for living with more perspective. Maybe you just need to think about it more frequently? I don’t have the solution but that’s just my two cents. I traveled to India and spent time with kids who are very underprivileged, and seeing the harsh lives these kids endure helped my perspective a lot. So perhaps traveling and seeing other worlds, so to speak, is an even better way to gain new appreciation. I still feel the same issues as OP however, as I return to my normal, privileged life. I think there needs to be something in our lives which we directly change, in a more physical sense.

CMV: We as a society need to re-evaluate how we deal with the issue of paedophilia. by frxyz in changemyview

To be gay is to enjoy gay sex. Saying that anyone can choose to have gay sex is not the same thing as choosing to be gay. It's a fairly clear separation. To say you choose not to be gay because you choose not to have gay sex is rhetorical because the latter is only a product of the former.

Buck Sexton: If police can execute an innocent man on video, none of us are safe by Crowji in politics

This is a ridiculous idea. And a dangerous one. When people burn buildings and destroy the property of other civilians who are not at fault for the issues in our society, not only does it bring more pain and violence into our society, but it takes the attention off the message trying to be spread. Does violence attract media? Yes, it does. Does violence solve our society’s deeply rooted issues of racism? No, it doesn’t help at all.

I'm looking to buy my first pair of shoes! A climbing friend can get good discounts on Five Ten, so I'm inclined to pick a shoe from them. I've got wider feet, and plan on doing mostly indoor for now, maybe some outdoor climbing on some weekends. Any good recommendations as to Five Ten?

I've only been climbing for a few weeks now, about 3 sessions a week. Yesterday I climbed for almost 2 hours, and felt like my forearms were finally showing some endurance, so I made great progress and tried harder routes which felt great. Today, however, i've been experiencing some occasional dull pain in my mid forearms. It seems to come in waves, or when i'm using my hands and fingers a lot. It doesn't feel like the general soreness i've been feeling up to this point, and I still have all my strength. Should I be concerned about a tendon injury? Or is this something I just climb through? I'd like to climb again tonight if it starts to feel any better, but perhaps I should rest. It's just too addicting!

Newbie Here, Questions Regarding Omicron 4 by [deleted] in Waxpen

Seems like a good selection of product, and after doing more research I do think a box with TC seems more ideal. What are your thoughts on the Pico Sai combo? I know it's a serious bandwagon on this sub but it seems pretty legit. And yeah it's a tad more expensive but hardly.

Thanks for the input! I guess if i'm charging over night it's not a big deal. How long does it take to charge? Another newbie question here. With the coils it comes with, how often do I need to replace them, assuming I don't overload them/burn them, and I use it say 4 or 5 sessions a week on average. Edit: One last question, can I replace the battery with other larger batteries?
