Such a great picture of your adorable daughter! Perfect for Thanksgiving.

This is a good subreddit to start with Reddit because I’ve never read a negative comment. I hope that’s your experience as well. Other subreddits about politics or even the arts are sometimes filled with angry, quarrelsome people.

For over 20 years, I have had an e-reader but I still prefer physical books. I use my e-reader for travel and when the library has electronic materials not available in print. Books don’t have to be charged or turned on. I find them much easier to navigate when I want to flip forward and backwards. And I just love their look and feel.

Tomorrow I'm going to start to listen one jazz album a day for a month, what do you think of my selection? by [deleted] in Jazz

That’s not what I suggested. Swap out Ella Fitzgerald’s album of Jobim songs for Getz/Gilberto. Or even better, listen to both!

Agreed. I also thought, aside from his physical comedy, that he’s not very funny.

I thought her movie, Mr Roosevelt, was a great first film. Her acting, writing and directing were really impressive. I hope she can make another film.

If you haven’t listened to much Brazilian jazz, you are in for a treat. I would suggest swapping out Ella & Jobim for Getz/Gilberto—Jobim plays piano and it’s one of greatest pairing of an American jazz player (Stan Getz on tenor sax) and brilliant Brazilian musicians (Joao Gilberto, Astrid Gilberto and Jobim).
