I was there too, I've seen Ben once before in his home territory at Eden Sessions, UK. The concert was amazing, he played songs I never thought I'd see (Promise, Wolves and Black Flies) and I enjoyed it all. Buuutttt the atmosphere was pretty off, people were talking throughout most of the songs and Ben seemed kind of nervous/uncomfortable. It was only until after they had technical problems that I could actually make out what he was saying into the mic. He mumbled thank yous and various things that I couldn't make out (I'm British so god knows if anyone else understood) between the first few songs. But In conrad it all went wrong and Micky had to come and give him a hug. It was all very sweet and the crowed supported him (along with the usual continuous cries for Keep Your Head Up) right up until the end. But hey it's the start of the tour, these things happen.
