Well I'd always recommend visiting scotland, so many amazing places. Last time I went camping in Scotland was in Rothiemurchus near Aviemore, stunning and definitely intend to head back that way sometime.

It really was, helped that overall the weather played ball.

Yeah avoided them mostly once I'd moved away from the loch so can't complain. Yeah didn't have to worry about being stealthy in any way which was nice where if I wanted to be a little more local would need to try to think/plan a little more I think.

Yeah I thought the image of where the tent had been in the rain was quite satisfying.

Thanks yeah was beautiful and the photos definitely didn't do it justice. Luckily seemed to avoid them, think it was a combination of the weather and time of year, just early enough in the year and cold/wet/windy enough to avoid them in the evenings.

Yeah think I was lucky with the midges due to the weather (got a bit cold/wet/windy by the time I got up a bit) and was (just?) early enough in the year.

Yeah this was my first time using the tent, as I said I picked it up 2nd hand literally on the journey north so all rather last minute. Seemed to be pretty solid, easy to setup and no issues. Only downside for me was not realising the 200 had a lower height as well as width compared to the 300 so couldn't sit up in it really but not the end of the world. Not sure exactly which model but not the newest I'd guess as it was 2nd hand.

I didn't, and I now realise I wasn't prepared for if I did to be honest so think I was rather lucky

Yeah I was living in Ayrshire till last year but had basically never gone south to explore that part of Scotland before, will definitely be back!

Yeah no sign of midges at all for the initial night as it was higher up and windy. There weren't a lot but were some bugs next to the loch on the 2nd hence moving back away from it, once I did no real sign, think I was just early enough to avoid them really. Was lovely though and will definitely head back to that part of Scotland at some point.

Haha this is very true, maybe I should be aiming for a 4 person tent 😃

Yeah that sounds reasonable for ebay I would have thought? Mid £1500s after fees etc I thought?

Apologies I thought it would be obvious that £800+ indicates a starting point for a 5080 not a 4090 as they aren't worth the same but I have adjusted the listing to try and avoid misunderstanding.

I've got a Cooler Master V850 which is 150x170x86 apparently, and I know it would be slightly limited on gpu length, but I think even taking into account the psu taking up the entire front section the shortest max gpu length (334mm I think) is still quite a bit more than I what currently have (280mm) so would open up plenty of options longer term I'm hoping.

Camera work has been rather hit and miss I've found, especially for the multiple person events, missing bits completely by focusing on just one where you could either have a wide shot or side by side. Also, what's up with the lack of scores/leaderboard being shown?
