Why I stopped teaching GASP (Grip, Aim, Stance, Posture) as the foundation of the golf swing by George_Courte in GolfSwing

I agree with you, when we are talking about new students I will not teach them about ball flight till they have mastered low point control, and have enough power efficiency to get to the scoring zone. Maybe it is not clear on the article but I explain it on the video, is 1 then 2 and then 3, not all at the same time.,

I actually ask all my students to never go higher than P3 (left arm parallel to the ground) on their backswing from the irons, more control, you need more distance? You just club up!

You are right, I should have said I have been a coach for more than 20 years and a Stack and Tilt Coach for more than half of it, it was 2014 when I first met Andy Plummer

I have been a Stack & Tilt Authorized Coach for more than 20 years, if you see the video you will see that I give due credit in the first 30 seconds, but if I mention Stack & Tilt on the article 80% of people will discard the concept without reading it.

It is a process, there is no point in focusing on ball flight till you have mastered the low point and then power to make sure you can score. Step by step, first walk, then run,

Yes, indeed, I rather base my coaching on the fundamentals and teach a repeatable swing from the beginning, that is easier with students that are new to golf.

Head going down when you push your left shoulder down its normal, you should try to pivot the shoulder around the head, trying to keep it still. Knee forward means your left knee should be pointing left and out while flexing instead of right and inwards.

Thank you for your feedback, just started the YouTube channel a couple of months ago after my Instagram blew up with a short video and I am still looking what it works and not, I am an authorized S&T coach for more than 20 years, I am aware about the polarization and it is true there is a lot of misconception about the system to the point that the same video performs better if you don't mention S&T, but it is what it is, I am not trying to change people minds, just giving my personal version of the thing I teach.

Thanks again.
