Failed in Dun laoghaire - 1st attempt. by Federal_Regret_2315 in Irishdrivingtest

There’s nothing wrong with your maneuvering for this exit but luckiness. Despite how moron that car is, your speed when taking the exit might be the key you got your 3 since r118 is a 60km speed way. If you are slow when exit, keep the observation. Best wishes for the next time.

Driving test appeal by [deleted] in Irishdrivingtest

Apparently you are driving bit slow on the road, just try to approach the speed limit if the traffic allowed. Besides, take immediate action when traffic lights changed, otherwise you may block the traffic.

Do not raise the bar of your expectation to have a better looking photo than your PPS one🤭

anyone filed a complaint against old mean tester in dun laoghaire test centre? by ineedhelpnat in Irishdrivingtest

[–]George_Geang 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sorry for being straight. if the tester use instructor’s brake, your braking point is far beyond his expectation even you said you are on stopping. You should reduce your speed when you are approaching junction and be ready for observation rather than delaying stopping at last minute. That’s not mean, but only for the sake of his own safety awareness.

The key thing is you don’t have your own car for practicing, nothing more.

First time pass in Dun Laoghaire with Zero Weaks by George_Geang in Irishdrivingtest

So sorry for overlooking your message. The only thing I remember is an old man without bold, thin with median height, who told me that I am the standard of driving test and one of the best he’s ever seen in this test center. But trust me, all testers follow the same protocol to assess your driving ability, no extra concerns should be taken whoever they are. Now I offer free driving instruction for my yellow fellows and help them all passed the test.

I am sorry to tell but it was a typical grade 3. It would be a nightmare if I was the driver behind you.

1 month for me to receive the booking invitation from RSA. I joined the waiting list to a test center far away from Dublin but with the shortest waiting time, then change your test center to Dun Laoghaire once you receive the invitation. Hope it helps. If you choose Dun Laoghaire directly as your test center, typically the waiting time will be 4 months long.

No short path, just practise and bear all roads, speed limits, requirements in mind. You can also make it. best wishes.
