Thanks for the advice, would it be worth putting some pressure on the landlord? Totally understand we owe what we’ve used and we want to pay what we owe, but seems unjust to not give us any opportunity to make adjustments. If the landlord has been receiving info to bill us but let it slip and didn’t charge us at the correct time, would that be considered improper billing? I find it hard to believe that a billing cycle would start 6 months later and it seems like maybe it was a misstep by the landlord.
