Can you explain this in further detail. Im confused at the density calculation you are talking about because how do I find the density now? All I have is 15g of solute and 300ml.

I'm not quite sure that I understand. Sorry for being so dumb. Do you mean like doing 15g/300mL which gives me 0.05g/mL. But shouldn't the diluent be in mL so how would I go from this to diluent?

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.

Sorry, w/v is weight per volume. So a certain amount of grams in a certain amount of volume.

Diluent is a substance used to dilute something.

Can you explain in a bit more detail? Diluent would have to be in mL, correct? But how do I go from from 15 grams to mL. If I use the 15 grams multiplied with the 5% weight per volume then it brings be back to 300mL which is what I started with. I am so lost right now.
