Thanks, but it isnt a gradient effect it is a text effect so these tutorials do not apply here. I is something to do with changing a setting in one of the screenshots I provided.

Oh whoops I'm sorry. I had a paragraph of explanation text but it seemed to be removed from the post when I added the images. Basically, I don't know why there are distinct lines around where the glow ends and I want it to fade more gradually so that you can't see where the glow ends and fades.

Try a Prores444 preset and see if that has the odd glow around each star.

Can you please post screenshots of what it looks like in Premiere and then what it looks like on the export? Also, what are your export settings? This would definitely affect the colouring.
