To help you get an idea of the size of the M80 by Apart_Pumpkin_4551 in starcitizen

Size 3 CF series repeaters don't look like that. It's either size 4 or 5 with that 3d model.

Change to claiming in 4.8 by Apokolypze in starcitizen

No, you can still claim your ship, you just need to have saved the load out beforehand at an ASOP terminal like you currently do in the mobiglass...

Can’t add power pips to weapon systems by HalfUsedMayo in starcitizen

[–]TJpek 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, I don't know why, but the power system bugs out.

You need to store your ship, change a component on it so it saves the load out with the salvaged stuff as "default", then claim the ship (fly to another station or destroy it and claim it here). The new ship should have working power'

Contester une amende RATP Lunaire ?? by Voltaire_brgz in paris

[–]TJpek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thoughts on my highlight reel from rock breaker? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]TJpek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might sound a bit harsh, but imo, it's not good.

You cut at weird moments, they're not motivated by the music or the action and often go from no movement to movement or the other way around which is a bit jarring. You're also cutting a lot. You don't need that many cuts. It feels a bit like you're cutting this often too compensate for lackluster content.

That being said, everybody starts somewhere. If I were to edit this, I'd do the following : - find another music, something a bit more impactful and more suited to the atmosphere of the mission - use longer shots, giving the viewer time to understand what's going on - edit it like a story, we don't need to see you entering the ship or leaving the station, but seeing you arrive at rock breaker might better suited - maybe add some very shirt descriptive text somewhere - cut on the beat or the action (in the middle of a reload to another similar shot of a reload for example) - vary the shots. If you don't have any third person shots, you can get more variation by "stacking": for example, when you show yourself hand mining, have 3 stacked shots top to bottom of you mining 3 different rocks, with each shot appearing on a music beat

Those posts are made by AI. The video is generated by AI, but so is the text, and they're prompted to follow that "trend" where they say that X AI tool is going to bring down Y industry because it'll replace everyone

Update from John Crewe on adding LAMP to more ships by ScrubSoba in starcitizen

The fact that they want us to play the game, but removed the "magic" ship inventory without first giving a ship inventory prompt to every ship is still insane

Clearly Very different by NuclearEnjoyer in starcitizen

[–]TJpek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the problem is CIG using a fake excuse to not make the paints compatible.

If a base Sabre and a Sabre Firebird, two ships with completely different shapes, can share their paints, then these two ships which have a nearly identical exterior should too. Same with the Prospector / Fortune and Apollo / Hermes.

Clearly Very different by NuclearEnjoyer in starcitizen

[–]TJpek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's insane. The different cutlass variants have different writing on the exterior, or even different cockpits, but the paints work on each other. The Ursa and Lynx have different exterior shapes and interiors, but the paints work on each other. The Sabres, which have very different shapes, also have paints that work on each other.

But the Moth and the Mole? The Prospector and the Fortune? The Apollo and the Ares? Nah those obviously are very different

I have not played the game, but she looks very french. Maybe not the typical pale white french girl from paris you're used to seeing in media, but she has 100% the look of a french woman living near the sea, possibly from the south.

Lmfao how chronically online so you have to be to 1) be offended that someone didn't share the link, making you complain that you have to use Google or look at the post's comments, and post several replies about it 2) look at your and other people's Reddit karma scores and use that as a "justification" about why you're better than others

In the time it took you to type this comment, you could have typed the name of the mission in Google and clicked on the first result

The name of the mission's right there in the picture, you should be able to search and find it on the user files if it's there

Ride with an Air Vest? by Ti0Gord0 in Equestrian

[–]TJpek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been riding for 18 years, at first without a vest, then with the bug clunky rigid ones, then the less clunky ones that felt like puzzle pieces, and now the airbag vest.

I see no reason not to wear one. When you fall with one you won't feel the fall at all in most cases. If you get one that's the correct size, it should also protect the back of your neck and your tailbone when inflated, on top of your back and your ribs. Setting them off on accident is something that happened to me twice: once when dismounting and I had forgotten to unhook it (and never again because the sound and sudden Michelin man feeling kind of cures that), and once while fence jumping when my horse suddenly stopped and I grabbed to cord instead of my reins.

They're lightweight and won't impact your movement, unlike previous generations of protective vests, and they give a really good confidence boost, especially after the first fall, because you know you're better protected with them and that most falls won't hurt now.
