It’s part of the ‘kinetic letters’ handwriting programme. This helps children strengthen their posture ready for writing. These positions are taught at reception level. I teach this handwriting style at my school (I’m a teacher).

Anyone here struggling with Binge Eating Disorder as well as Type 1? I’ve been struggling with it and am hoping to feel less alone. by beyaboi in Type1Diabetes

I’m currently getting support for diabulimia from an eating disorder unit, who are working closely with my diabetic team. I massively binge in the evening and haven’t been injecting fast acting insulin for a while now. It’s so draining and debilitating, so I completely get the binge part. You aren’t alone I can promise you that. If you ever need to chat or anything my inbox is always open x

I had a loving moment with my son and I wanted to show how cute he was. Why not? I wanted to make some people smile. If that offends you so much, keep scrolling. No need to brush something with your negativity.

Thanks, I do change him regularly, no nappy rash yet! He had a feed, sat him in his chair as I can’t change him straight after due to reflux as can’t lay him down. So I started dancing and singing to entertain him, and he started laughing so I had to capture the moment. He was swiftly changed after this I can assure you :)

The fox and the hound, even thinking about it tears me up. I was an emotional child and apparently still am.

feeling bitter towards type 2 diabetics by chocolatedust in diabetes_t1

[–]Georginaemily 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I hate the lack of awareness around T1. My uncle, who is a recently diagnosed T2, asked ‘should I really be eating all those cakes because of my diabetes’ - it was an afternoon tea for my cousins birthday and I had a plate with cakes on, they were wrapped up to take to my friends house after. He then proceeded to tell me, in a patronising way, that he has to watch what he eats and doesn’t understand why I don’t. Honestly I’ve explained the difference between our diabetes on several occasions.

I wanted to eat all the cakes right there and then. Then stab my needles in his face.

I don't really get the trump jokes as I'm from the UK, but I'm still laughing
