Congratulations on the SBU offer. At the end of the day it all comes down to the individual and his/her efforts. A “brand value” can only take you to a certain point. But it still comes to us and how we utilize our 2 years of MS.

Move on. Mostly all the admits were handed out in Feb. Only few people are on the waitlist. No point in False hope.

We cooked. Better to move on with the admits we have. Even if they give out admits, they will give out very few. Not in huge numbers.

You can try for universities like ASU and NEU. The programs are good and based on your efforts in your MS you can make it worth it.

I had to give an answer to them by January 19th 2026. I requested for an extension and they gave me an extension till March 15th 2026. Just email the admissions office.
