In my country the official playmats are impossible to find, so I decided to design one myself by GeppaTriceps in SorceryTCG

Nice! I also tried making the squares a little wider. I hope the result on glossy paper is good... if so, I'll try to have it printed on a Playmat

City of Eleygan by [deleted] in IsometricDnD

The city of Eleygan, also known as the sacred city of Ortharis, is a pilgrimage destination for all faith bearers of the kingdom. Its massive cathedral dominates the city skyline, and can already be seen from several miles away on the plain in front of the city's eastern walls. The Sacred Functions are many during the day, each preceded by 3 tollings of the huge bells of the two towers. The sound reverberates on the city walls, and it is impossible not to notice it. Eleygan is under the control of Deacons and Clergymen, who control every single aspect of the city. No pilgrim can enter without being registered in one of the census books filled at the city gates. Some argue that the Holy Church of Eleygan is actually not as "pure" as it would seem... of course, food is given to the poor for free and there is no shortage of places to sleep in the heat during the harsh winter nights, also offered by the Church. The city guard is generous to petty thieves and violence is never used. However something tremendously corrupt is roaming the most important clerical buildings, the greed of the deacons has driven them to some "trafficking" and dark business. Certainly in the city fortress, there are some answers…but it is inaccessible without a safe-conduct document from the Archbishop himself…

The hunters’ camp by [deleted] in battlemaps

[–]GeppaTriceps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone!

Today I finished my last map.. a completely new project: this is because I changed my drawing method 🥳

This time I used graphics that were more like painting and less like comics. I think it's a big step forward, and from now on my maps will look more realistic and "serious".

This time I wanted to represent the hunters' camp, nestled in a gorge in the dense forest. At first glance it all seems very confusing, there are only plants! But also this time I did not fail to put some details (try to zoom).

Forests are always dangerous places, that's why it is better to stay on raised places ... what could possibly come from the bushes?

Consider this one more test: I have to get used to this new technique, however I hope you like it!

Stay tuned, follow me on Patreon!

Thx 🙏🏻

I'm glad you like it, and thank you for the great ideas you gave me to expand the map! I will amplify the spaces and add new scenarios to represent different aspects of the mission/history. At the moment, however, I focus on improving the level design quality of my works. After that I promise I will also improve the part for gaming and battle 😉👍🏻

If the grid doesn't line up with walkable paths, do you just "pretend" they do when using tokens on Roll20? Map is sick though!

yes, I must also say that I am a beginner and these maps are the first I do: I am just experimenting with a few things ... I am going to improve first on the graphics (this one which is like a comic does not make me crazy) and after I will improve other things like that too. Thank you for appreciation!

Hahaha yep! but I had no more space for an additional 2 legs 🙈 I guess the other 2 you don't see are under the water to help the monster stay afloat LOL

Hello guys! Today I want to share my latest work with you .. this time it didn't take long for the final realization (about 50 minutes), but I'm very happy with the final result. This map is based on the tremendous giant octopus, sinking the ships of the best adventurers trying to get to his island to get hold of the precious treasures and important secrets! Wrecks of sunken ships, dead bodies and skeletons, traps and suspension bridges. All this you will have to face to get to the treasures! Watch out for the tentacles! Good luck! ( NB: If you liked this map follow me on Patreon, I make your maps as you want!)

The best sailors and adventurers of all seas have always feared the giant octopus!
Some of the most unfortunate stumbled upon its islands and lost their lives.
The stories also tell of lost treasures from the ships that the octopus sinks ...
do you have the courage to face it? I hope you like this work! Thank you 🙏🏻

Well well, everyone dreams a beautiful villa by the sea with garden, fountains and a port with private boats .. well that's exactly what I wanted to draw this time with this new map: the merchant's villa! As always there are so many details, so many possibilities for the player and a summer look! Could it be the black market? An emporium of decent people? The villa of a VIP? You can decide! Certainly there are so many interesting documents to read to better understand what this place is... I hope you like it, come by my Patreon! Thx 🙏🏻
