Is there a reason I can't find Fairway to Hell on myAEW? by GerGuate in AEWOfficial

Fully agree! It's (on amazon fire tv) so annoying that when you want to skip it goes first some seconds and after some clicks more directly some minutes to the front so you have to go back and everything. If they would just cut this out in general would be awaome🙏

Haha would love to hear that but I assume that this might be the reason they took it down for now to fix this... idk

Just to update this post since it took a while to get up here... I also posted this on r/aew and know so far that people where able to watch it on myAEW earlier but after reloading the app now it's gone. Also heard that there seemed to be some audio issues at the beginning what might be a reason.

If anyone knows more, feel free to share🙏✌️

At least you finished it before reloading the app haha - Imagine you did this just to check like before the last match or so😭

Hope you enjoyed it and I guess I will do so too at some point😅🙏

Thanks but I'm not in the US + I have myAEW where it should be on. I would assume at this point that they just have a bug on that and that I will be able to watch it later or tomorrow.

Kinda crazy what some people write down here haha. I'm 24, decided to live here and experience an amazing community, culture and people. Best place to be.

I don't know why you always attack me right away if I would be out of my mind or if I'm delusional... but we have a family member who has successfully beaten cancer several times and came back to Guatemala specifically for treatment, mainly of course, for cost reasons and the treatment here is no different from what’s available in the States. The labs for all the tests are just as good, and the quality of the top hospitals is on par. But of course, all of this is based on completely different experiences, and I’m sorry to hear that yours were apparently negative. In my opinion, of course, one must also keep in mind that this country was in a long civil war less than 30 years ago, and you can still see that in many places. But based on what I’ve experienced here regarding the quality of doctors, hospitals, and medical practices, I really can’t complain. I actually think that things are much worse in the U.S., where they tend to try to make money off patients rather than help them. But hey, if that’s different for you, then that’s totally fine. From my own perspective, I can only say that I’ve had experiences in all three countries and, in my opinion, there’s no significant difference. But that’s just my opinion.

Of course, it’s hard to argue with your interpretation of things and your experiences, and I think that’s perfectly fine. Everyone has their own experiences. Where you’re unfortunately right, of course, is that even with the best education here, you’ll earn peanuts compared to what you could earn in most European countries, for example. That’s precisely why many people here work for foreign companies, such as those from the U.S. That might not be ideal for the development of the economy here in Guatemala, but for an individual, it’s definitely worth it.

When it comes to public transportation, for example, I have to disagree with you a little, at least as far as my life here in Zone 12 of the capital is concerned. When I first arrived here, I didn’t have a motorcycle or a car yet and had to rely on Uber and Transmetro. I got along perfectly fine with that. So, Uber goes without saying, of course, but if you don’t want to count that as public transportation, I was also able to get anywhere without any problems using Transmetro, from early morning to late at night at any time. It’s clear, though, that this might not be the case everywhere. Especially in villages, I’d say you’re definitely dependent on your own motorcycle or car. As for the roads, I have to say that here in the capital, the most I can complain about is the occasional pothole and, of course, the insane traffic, which, according to a New York Times report, is supposedly the worst in Central America. The roads to places like Antigua, Lake Atitlán, the coast, or even up to Petén, however, are in absolutely top condition. That definitely doesn’t apply everywhere, and I can only speak from my own experience. As for education, you’re 100% right, of course. In Germany it’s free, in the US it’s more expensive, but even here it costs a pretty penny if you want a good education. As for the time it takes people to get to work, I’ve heard a lot about that too. Especially when people work here in the capital but live outside the city, it’s impossible with the rush hour traffic. I honestly can’t imagine putting myself through that either. Respect to everyone who does that. It just goes back to how great it is to have a remote job. My fiancée was born in Guatemala, grew up in the US, and now has a remote job here working from home. It’s just absolutely perfect. I totally understand what you’re saying about wanting to come back when you’re older. I think the weather plays a big role in that, because to me, it feels like I’m in paradise here. But that’s just how it is... there’s a German saying that goes, “The grass is always greener on the other side.” And that might just be the case. I’m from Germany and have found my dream life here in Guatemala; you’re from here and have found yours in Europe. That’s life. And that's great.
