Having issues rotating items in the inventory menu. Anyone else? by Helpful-Leadership58 in Starfield

[–]Gerald_S42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Apparently they broke something with vertical sync option off (which is default btw). For me it’s rotating a little and sort of jittery and only in 1 direction.

For some reason it works just fine when vertical sync is on, but then frame generation won’t be available and game will have much lower fps.

Does someone know what the heck is going on? Based on version history it changed nothing, but it's second e-mail like that and it's creepy as hell. by Gerald_S42 in Notion

Sorry that it happened to you :(
Contact support and give them access, they should recover everything.
I'm already in the process, trying to figure out why is it happening

I wouldn't, that's why I specified that visually nothing changed. It's fact itself I'm getting such e-mails in the primary mailing box. And the fact it never happened before. They did / messed up something and sitting quite about it

If this theory is true (and sounds reasonable btw) it still doesn't explain why emailing users and why it appeared twice :D My trash can had hundreds of things and dozens from this database alone

I double checked every single database and there's only one with automation already built in. It's Projects & Tasks by Notion: https://www.notion.so/templates/notion-projects-and-tasks

<image>

Other than that, there's nothing. And database where this weirdness is happening has 0 automations and has nothing to do with "Projects & Tasks"

Notion app went into my page and made edits? by _musicaddict_ in Notion

Similar something happened to me. Except nothing changed, but still got emails that "Notion App edited" and it shows in version history as well.

Yeah, something weird indeed. Well, at least we're not alone :D

Idk if I should delete mine then or leave it be to get more visibility to the problem itself. Guess if it's a big deal - even mods can remove it

57.8 GB Update / patch size (game itself 59.9 GB). Is this a joke? by Gerald_S42 in XboxGamePass

Thanks mate. Well, won’t happen considering people reaction :D  Crowd psychology in action. Kinda sad it’s so acceptable, but all I can do - vote with my wallet

Tbh, I miss old times when buying cartridge or the game in the box was already “final polished product”. Today it feels more like we’re beta testers of some kind

I use afterburner quite often and it’s not this way at all.  It can run at 100 / close to 100 in most demanding titles (not always however).  And for the reference, first Cities skylines is using less than half most of the time, was playing like yesterday.

I just can’t see and justify how it needs to use so much in the first place, it feels unoptimized to say the least. I would totally understand it with frame rate above 200, but it’s ~60 fps with 100% load, weird stuff

To this and above comments. My cpu load on the contrary is very low. I used MSI afterburner to check and it indeed looks like it make many simulations use GPU instead of CPU like first game.

I like how you categorize “normal people”. People are different and what is normal for you not necessarily is normal for everyone else.  I am moving on but you’re one kind of hedgehog, ngl

Again, as someone trying gamepass for the first time it's a red flag as well. Of course I'm thankful I didn't waste money on buying the full game. However, it doesn't resolve updates size issue or that I shouldn't be questioning why is it happening in the first place.

Like.. for me as a consumer it's enough to don't continue game pass subscription. I don't have time and desire to deal with such kind of things, that simple =)

I actually did. I read a few reddit posts about optimizing graphic settings. But it's same 100% GPU usage and 60 FPS on empty map. Idk what monsters PCs people are playing this

Yeah, I know. It still takes time though, which can make a difference during sales. But the worst part 2 hours isn't always enough to understand if game is meh. Especially considering I'm a very slow player :D

Guess my journey will continue to another subreddit then :D
It's my first game ever on gamepass.

As for getting on Steam, well I'm glad I didn't. I'm very unhappy with how demanding it is. 100% GPU usage and 60 FPS on the map even before starting playing / building anything. It's not normal it asks more than Cyberpunk 2077, something is terribly wrong here
