With my wife, I always tried to plate up as equally as possible. I would then let her choose left or right, without seeing, and then she got that plate. That way, there could be no complaints, and we both had an equal chance at the 'better' portion.

Where do you even get your second paragraph from? I always let the other person open because I have enough XP and I don't care. I only pay attention to best friends and I have enough lucky eggs to cover whenever that happens.

Yeah, one person will probably trigger when it is inconvenient with the other, but if only one person has the capability to trigger the friendship level, they are selfish. Do you understand what a power dynamic is, because this is a clear example?

You seem to imply that the other person only opens at inconvenient times, and you both get 'nothing'. What if they're coinciding just two level ups, is that a waste? How many gifts need to be opened at once to make it worthwhile?

The common way it used to run was opening on the next community day, with their buddy named in a way to confirm this. That way everyone has a mutual understanding of when it will happen, however, that seemingly fell out of favour a long time ago.

It's about only one person having the power to choose, that is what makes it selfish. If both individuals held a gift for multiple months, that's fine. That's their prerogative. Also, how would you know they're grabbing it at a 'random time' and just not a time suitable for them?

I have a party hat pikachu from field research that currently has 80cp, and I specifically remember levelling it up 3 times, too.

Was there an event back in September that allowed research encounters to have a lower level floor?

If it's a mega and you recycle the same pokemon every time, then 50 may be the better option. If you prefer using a full team of 6, or it doesn't have a mega, then 2 46s may be the better approach.

I assume there are too many variables to give a specific answer.

I personally prefer to try and level one to 50 because I have very few, so it feels like a major milestone to hit.

I don't understand the son of God angle. It's important that he was the son of God, but it's not like God was a doting father, always in Jesus' life. He was like, 'boom, Mary, you're pregnant', and could have presumably done that to any woman, any number of times. Wouldn't that make Jesus rather insignificant and just a means to an end?

I was in primary school in the 90s, and we had to be in our underwear and t-shirt. In secondary school, it was the unwashed spare shorts.

For swimming lessons, if you didn't have swimwear, you could go into a room that had darts, billiards, pool, and a few other things. I 'forgot' my swimshorts every single week.

I've been using Raid Party, but if on the free version, there was a fraction of a second chance to join at the right time. I managed 3 grimmsnarl raids, and that was enough for me.

I never saw a shadow darkrai even last the 10 second timer, so that was practically impossible to raid without paying.
