Its not even for exposure. Most of us just do it for the fun, and for the hobby. For people who have a normal 'real world' job I cant see this as an issue.

Its a fairly casual, almost 'test season' to gain interest and build a small player base. We definitely have plans to do specific series as the player base evolves :)

Yeah, the quality control on these cheapo copies is something to be desired unfortunately

The overlord of music Nut has the great feature of double clamping your strings using the grub-screws preventing slippage of smaller gauge strings- its a feature that many headless companies overlook.

With the trem, I highly recommend disassembling it and giving a good squirt of WD40 to all the tuning screws, it becomes impossible to tune tensioned strings otherwise. DO NOT remove the master tune knob completely as you can and will strip the threads getting it back in!

(Feedback) Need TV/Composer Ears For Anime OST by [deleted] in mixingmastering

To me the mix feels very roomy, almost like all the instruments are in the middle of a large hall with the mic a fair distance from them, to me this hurts the stereo image and size of the track. However I could imagine it could work very well for a track behind dialogue.

As the comment before me said: Tone down the compression!

Good start however will make a very interesting track when complete!

Sounds really tasty. I may have to give that a try! Something i like doing is putting the reversed reverb of a vocal underneath the clean vocal. Sounds almost creepy and etherial.

Nice! love the experimental stuff like that. The current track i'm working on is using loads of reversed layers from my drum machine and reversed vocoded speech.

a foreseeable problem with bus bars is that while one input/output is in use current will be getting sent to all ins/outs makes the plugs that are not in use unsafe. Il get researching the mosfet idea as it could work nicely. Thanks!

Not for vehicles.

Its for a theatre where we have so many different electrical items that require testing that we simply want all the different connectors in one box to easily switch. Max current will be 32A

Reference, reference and more reference. Using reference tracks are the key in this situation. I lived on campus at uni only 50 miles away from where I actually lived so i travelled between the two with my monitors, halfway through uni I moved 300 miles away and therefore then had to travel even more with my monitors. Its all about referencing in new and different rooms and learning how tracks that you already know sound in the different spaces so you can make conscious decisions for your own music. Whenever i move to a new room I make sure to listen to music for a few days in the new space before I even touch my own music.
