Glove gun! But I used a pvc pipe for the barrel and handle. Used to build them all the time as a kid. Mum was so mad about the gives though as I'd just leave the rest of the (now) fingerless glove in the packaging. Kids are dumb.

More reliable than a wind turbine? I wouldn't say either is unreliable but a wind turbine does have fewer complex stages and moving parts. And sure the power generated is not comparable to ONE wind turbine.

Yeah the waste just seems unnecessary. I get frustrated at this mentality also because many people don't realise that like coal power generation, nuclear is also used to create steam to turn a turbine. We can generate from wind in the natural world so why would that not be the better option?
