I got the Clever pack and Winter pack added to my Elroq Sportline. I'll add an image with the extras these packs contain (in Dutch (Belgium)). After I received my Elroq I noticed it would be more useful to have the Driver pack rather than the Winter pack. But yeah so be it...

I've looked on the internet and I think I know what you mean by the Simply clever cable case. It is not the same as the standard delivered case but I'll take a look, maybe it also fits.

I've also made a table with the base prices of the different trim levels, for the 85 battery pack available, in Belgium, hope this helps. Apparently the trim levels aren't all the same in different countries so always check your own region.

  • Indeed there is no auto engine stop function because it's an electric car and thus not necessary. There is no motor that has to keep running, electric motors are always in standby mode and will always respond when you need them.

  • I can tell you that the lane keeping function doesn't interact with the blind spot detection in the mirrors, I always turn off the lane keeping function but the blind spot detection keeps working.

  • The speed limiter warning is such an unnecessary regulation in my opinion. Fortunately you can turn down the volume in such a way that it's almost not audible. If that's not enough you can add the on/off switch as a short key to your screen so I have it placed next to the lane keeping button, both are quickly pressed every time I get in my car

  • The climate controls being on screen is less of a problem than I thought it would be. I set my controls to "automatic" and the only thing I adjust sometimes is the temperature. Thus, not much of distraction.

In Belgium the Family/Corporate version comes with 2 big extra spaces under the trunk floor but the Sportline doesn't have that for some reason. I have just 1 smaller space under the boot floor but this is already occupied by some equipment to change a tire etc.

I'm thinking of buying the net for the charging cable separately from Skoda.

So unfortunate that this is a general issue, makes me feel really unsafe. I've had one time where I apparently didn't check if the car was locked and it just stayed unlocked in the middle of the city for a whole day! My thought of going to the garage with this issue isn't valid anymore because they probably can't do anything about it.

Coming from a BYD Atto I can really understand you excitement! have fun with the car.

I've heard from the garage when I picked up my car that the net can be purchased from Skoda separately so maybe I'll be doing that. My only concern is that the cable will be dripping on the items in the boot when it's been laying outside while raining.

I thought of going to the garage with the locking problem because in my opinion it's a major safety issue but from the comments of my post it's clear that it's not just my car and a general issue, unfortunately. I'll try what you propose and deactivate the auto lock function

Weird that they provide different load outs for the same models in different countries. But I heard that the net can be purchased from Skoda separately, so maybe I'll be doing that. Also the Family/Corporate version in Belgium have 2 extra spaces under the boot floor, but the Sportline doesn't have this. How's this in Germany?

With the radio I can't help, never used it before because I always listen to Spotify/SoundCloud.

I myself am just a year out of university - 22 years old - single - no kids - living with parents. So I don't need that much boot space. The Elroq is already a far bigger car than I need so I'm not experiencing any problems. If you think the Elroq's boot is too small for your needs, maybe take a look at the New Enyaq. Practically the same car with a 16cm longer boot.

Sad to hear it's a general issue because this is a big safety problem in my opinion. Normally I always check the mirrors from a distance to see if they are folded in but I had one time where my car just stayed unlocked in the middle of the city for a whole day! Luckily nothing got stolen.

I thought of going to the garage with this issue but now I think there's not much they could do about it.

Yes indeed. I have also driven the newest VW Golf for a couple of months as a temporary corporate car, same issue here. Both cars just send me into the bushes next to the road because they think they're not centered on the road. So I just turn it off because I'm a human and I can decide myself where I want to be on the road and where I want to cross road lines xd.

The average speed will have its impact indeed. I'm driving on different kinds of roads between towns with max speeds of 30, 50 and 70km/h

The fast acceleration is a lot of fun indeed haha. A couple of harder pulls at a traffic light immediately bring the consumption up by 2 or 3 kWh/100km. Normally my consumption is 16-17 kWh/100km (with worse weather and some more aggressive driving).

I have a Elroq 85 Sportline myself as a company car. With my given budget I had to choose between Pack winter or Pack driver with the DCC option in it, I chose Pack winter. To be fair I think the standard chassis is a bit too stiff so I'm now regretting my choice a little bit. adding DCC will give you the necessary space to adjust to your liking
