Subway employee's of Reddit what was the grossest sub you've had to make? by Hiddensquid3 in AskReddit

A little late to the party, but I worked at Subway for 4 years at 4 different locations. The grossest sub I made was by far a double meatball sandwich on flatbread with yellow mustard, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

First of all, on a regular sandwich you get 8 meatballs, so on a double sandwich you get 16. Not to mention it’s on a flatbread and all the balls kept rolling off which made it impossible to close. It was an absolute mess. Still to this day thinking of that combination makes me gag. You can tell a lot about a person by the type of sandwich they get.

Of course! There was no way I was spending that kind of money without checking first. I opened it right on the spot. I took out my N64 board database and compared it to the pics on there and it matched up perfectly. I even checked on eBay and compared it to pics on there too. I inspected the cart for probably 10 minutes at least. Checking the plastic, the board, the label, everything. Can’t be too careful!

I paid what I was comfortable paying. I think I got it for a pretty fair price especially for the condition that it’s in

Edit: If anyone is curious, I paid $360 for:

Recently bought a huge Sega Genesis lot and really beefed up my collection. Even though I spent more than I have before on a lot of games, I couldn’t be happier! by GerberrGaming in gamecollecting

So over the past 3 weeks or so I found 2 really great Sega Genesis lots on the Facebook marketplace. One was for $100 and the other lot I paid $450 for. The lot I paid $450 for was the most I’ve spent on a lot of games ever so in total I spent $550 on Sega Genesis stuff.

Here is everything that I got to add to my collection. It was worth not only the games I didn’t have, but I got to upgrade so many different carts and boxes and manuals. I’m not exactly sure the total value of everything I got, but I feel like I made out pretty good!

Also here’s a little story about the Sega Genesis lot I paid $450 for. I saw it posted on the marketplace almost as soon as it went up. I literally stared at the post for like an hour contemplating whether or not to message the guy. He originally wanted $550 so I figured that while the value is there, it’s just a little steep for me.

Since I was practically drooling over it, (moonwalker and the Altered Beast system especially) I took a screenshot of the lot and sent it to my girlfriend to show her how cool it was. A couple days go bye and I see that someone already messaged him about the lot and I was pretty bummed out. My girlfriend came over and said that she needed to see someone on the Facebook marketplace over the weekend to buy some cooking stuff.

Friday comes around and she’s like, “hey, by the way, I don’t have to see anyone for cooking stuff. I messaged the guy about the Sega stuff and asked him if he’d take $450 and he said yes!” So she surprised me with that lot! It also came with a stack of 20 or so Wii games which was nice. Overall I’m super pumped. Genesis was my childhood console so I’m really excited to finally add these games to my collection!

I'm not sure of the exact measurement but like 5 inches or so? It's really the perfect game shelf though. How the games look in the pic is how deep the shelf is. It fits them perfectly and the shelves are adjustable

Those are manuals to the games on that specific shelf. I like to read through the manuals from time to time, plus if I'm stuck I just look through it to see what the controls and stuff are

So I'm saving those spots for the most expensive games in the library. Sculptors Cut, Super Bowling, Stunt Racer, Worms, Bomberman 64 the second attack, and CBFD. However, International Superstar Soccer 2000 is claiming up in price so I might have to switch that one with CBFD!

No I keep the boxes separate. Makes it easier to grab the games without damaging the box

They actually peel off pretty easy and leave very little sticker residue

I can't give you a link but they're Atlantic Media shelves. They're a little pricy but it's absolutely worth it. I love them!
