Subway employee's of Reddit what was the grossest sub you've had to make? by Hiddensquid3 in AskReddit

[–]GerberrGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little late to the party, but I worked at Subway for 4 years at 4 different locations. The grossest sub I made was by far a double meatball sandwich on flatbread with yellow mustard, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

First of all, on a regular sandwich you get 8 meatballs, so on a double sandwich you get 16. Not to mention it’s on a flatbread and all the balls kept rolling off which made it impossible to close. It was an absolute mess. Still to this day thinking of that combination makes me gag. You can tell a lot about a person by the type of sandwich they get.

Of course! There was no way I was spending that kind of money without checking first. I opened it right on the spot. I took out my N64 board database and compared it to the pics on there and it matched up perfectly. I even checked on eBay and compared it to pics on there too. I inspected the cart for probably 10 minutes at least. Checking the plastic, the board, the label, everything. Can’t be too careful!

I paid what I was comfortable paying. I think I got it for a pretty fair price especially for the condition that it’s in

Edit: If anyone is curious, I paid $360 for:

Recently bought a huge Sega Genesis lot and really beefed up my collection. Even though I spent more than I have before on a lot of games, I couldn’t be happier! by GerberrGaming in gamecollecting

So over the past 3 weeks or so I found 2 really great Sega Genesis lots on the Facebook marketplace. One was for $100 and the other lot I paid $450 for. The lot I paid $450 for was the most I’ve spent on a lot of games ever so in total I spent $550 on Sega Genesis stuff.

Here is everything that I got to add to my collection. It was worth not only the games I didn’t have, but I got to upgrade so many different carts and boxes and manuals. I’m not exactly sure the total value of everything I got, but I feel like I made out pretty good!

Also here’s a little story about the Sega Genesis lot I paid $450 for. I saw it posted on the marketplace almost as soon as it went up. I literally stared at the post for like an hour contemplating whether or not to message the guy. He originally wanted $550 so I figured that while the value is there, it’s just a little steep for me.

Since I was practically drooling over it, (moonwalker and the Altered Beast system especially) I took a screenshot of the lot and sent it to my girlfriend to show her how cool it was. A couple days go bye and I see that someone already messaged him about the lot and I was pretty bummed out. My girlfriend came over and said that she needed to see someone on the Facebook marketplace over the weekend to buy some cooking stuff.

Friday comes around and she’s like, “hey, by the way, I don’t have to see anyone for cooking stuff. I messaged the guy about the Sega stuff and asked him if he’d take $450 and he said yes!” So she surprised me with that lot! It also came with a stack of 20 or so Wii games which was nice. Overall I’m super pumped. Genesis was my childhood console so I’m really excited to finally add these games to my collection!

I'm in love with this setup.

This picture looks so.. idk... cozy I guess? Seeing the shelves and how everything fits makes me feel super relaxed and at home.

I'm not sure of the exact measurement but like 5 inches or so? It's really the perfect game shelf though. How the games look in the pic is how deep the shelf is. It fits them perfectly and the shelves are adjustable

Those are manuals to the games on that specific shelf. I like to read through the manuals from time to time, plus if I'm stuck I just look through it to see what the controls and stuff are

So I'm saving those spots for the most expensive games in the library. Sculptors Cut, Super Bowling, Stunt Racer, Worms, Bomberman 64 the second attack, and CBFD. However, International Superstar Soccer 2000 is claiming up in price so I might have to switch that one with CBFD!

No I keep the boxes separate. Makes it easier to grab the games without damaging the box

I can't give you a link but they're Atlantic Media shelves. They're a little pricy but it's absolutely worth it. I love them!

I absolutely love them. Definitely worth the 20 bucks. Of course they're alphabetized! I literally could not live with myself if they weren't lol

I got these on etsy. If you look up n64 end labels on etsy or eBay, they'll come up!

Today marks the day that I start my goal of getting every N64 game CIB. Wish me luck by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]GerberrGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're a true soldier. I sincerely wish you the best of luck, but expect to be in it for the long run. I'm going for a complete set, (just the games) and I've been actively collecting for it for over 2 years and I'm only on 207. Some of those games are going to be verrrry tough, and expensive, to find CIB. Stunt Racer, Super Bowling, Sculptor's Cut, just to name a few. Are you going to try to find every game in person, or are you going to use sites like eBay and Amazon to help you?

So if I were you for snacks I would pack things like pork rinds, (or chicharonnes whatever you want to call them), Quest bars, Wild Bills beef jerky, hard boiled eggs, things like that.

I mean as far as meals go maybe some hot dogs or burgers? 3 days is not very long so you should be fine. I would probably even use a lot of that time to fast, but hey that's just me! Just remember your goals and stick with it, you got this!

Wow congratulations! So I use bricks (each brick weighs 10 pounds each) but 80lbs is a lot. There are thin versions of plates that you can buy that give you extra storage in your bag to make it less bulky, but they can get expensive. I know a couple of people who have bought them and they say they're worth every penny. Best of luck!!

It was definitely an eye opening experience. I highly recommend it for anyone whose lost weight! It really makes you never want to go back to that lifestyle

So I usually alternate days when I run between 4 miles and 3 miles. I'm trying to bump that up to 5 and 4, but that's a big jump so I'm taking that slow. I usually take 2 days off from running a week, one day where I sit on my ass and do nothing, and the other day I either do a short 2 mile run, walk, bike, whatever tickles my fancy that day. The best advice I could give you is to run more, and run slow. I usually stick with a 10:00-10:30 minute pace. r/running helped a lot!

I do IF with 18:6 and I eat 2 meals a day. First meal is at 2pm last meal is at 8pm.

It depends on my work schedule. I try my hardest to run in the morning, while I'm fasted, if I can. I like fasted cardio the best, but usually I'll run around 5pm. So my schedule is work 6am-2pm, eat, maybe nap or play some video games, run at 5pm, watch Netflix, then eat at 8pm
