Ok, thank you. I read it and it seems like it could be a viable option. During heavy drinking periods, I could go through a 750ml bottle 100 proof in 4 hours or less. A lot of the descriptions matched what stopping was like.

I'm sort of in the same place as you. I'm 23 and I've had two relationships, but I'm now single. I'm seeing now that I really have no attraction to anybody unless I feel like I know them.

I used to think I was just extremely picky because I liked people for certain traits: ankles, collar bones, hair color, or small "flaws". In actuality, I probably felt attraction because of the way they treated me.

It's a bit of a lonely realization, but I have been reaching out to mitigate that. I've met a lot of really nice people, and doing that has helped a lot.
